Teen Review – BZRK by Michael Grant

by MaryTheLibrarian

This is the most intense war the world has ever seen with the most complex forms of soldiers ever created. It is the nano; in which losing is no option. The main characters are splattered throughout the book: Noah and Sadie, who have never met but are forced to work together underground; Vincent, who is fighting for personal reasons with the villains; plus the Armstrong Twins, who nobody knows if they’re bad or good. Everyone is forced to play the villain’s game…because it’s the nano.  BZRK will blow your mind. This book is incredible and was a delight to read. Not much can be said about the plot line because there is a twist in every page and too much information would spoil it. It was a fast-paced read and good for teenaged boys as well as girls. It involved two strong main characters that are good role models to teens as an example of determination and strong motives.  I loved the parts that involved fighting and complete interaction between the good ones and the Bug Man. The involvement is intense, like an explosion on the page.
