Rafe, the main character, has been kicked out of Hills Village Middle School before. He learns that if he wants to re-enroll, he must take a Special Education class. He is looking forward to a successful year, but that dream is crushed by Miller, the school bully, and Mrs. Stricker, the school principal. Also, Rafe has found himself on the football team with his enemy, Miller.
This book mainly takes place at a middle school and on a football field. The main characters of this book are Rafe, Flip, and Miller. Rafe is an irresponsible student that has been kicked out of school before. But, he is a talented drawer. His best friend, Flip, is in the same Learning Skills class as him and is a humorous kid. Miller, also known as Miller the Killer, is a bully that frequently makes fun of Rafe. He also dragged Rafe into their middle school football team.
I loved this book. I am now in middle school myself and I sometimes find myself in situations that Rafe was in. One thing I loved about this book is that the author uses humor in every way possible. He has made jokes about one of Rafe’s teacher, Rafe’s principals, and many other things! The author even made a character that is very humorous.
I absolutely loved this book. Although there are many things I love about this book, there is one memorable thing about this book. There is one part where Flip makes a joke about his Learning Skills teacher, Mr. Fanucci.
