Read + Review — Allegiant, by Veronica Roth

Nobody lives outside of Tris’s city of Chicago, or at least that’s what she thinks. In the third book in Veronica Roth’s Divergent series, Tris and Four learn about the secrets of their lives and how everything they’ve been told is a lie. Tris and her friends finally leave the gates of Chicago. What they find is not what they expected.

Although I’ve absolutely loved the Divergent series, Allegiant just didn’t size up to the two other books. This book seemed to be progressing slowly. Also, the dual perspectives was confusing at times. The ending of this book was not what I expected or wanted to happen, but I would still recommend this series to a friend.

One memorable thing about the book was that the government was lying to everybody for their entire lives.
