The third book in the adventurous Heroes of Olympus series is no less than the others. In the beginning the seven combined heroes from both books join to defeat Gaea. They start on their quest with defeating Gaea in mind, but also another problem comes up, “the mark of Athena.”
I thought the book was amazingly written, with humor, suspense, and many cliffhangers. I enjoyed how Rick Riordan doesn’t just tell the story from just one point of view, but switches between character to build suspense and excitement. The only thing I did not like about the book is that whenever there is an exiting or climatic part, they story is always changed and is told by a different character. Other than that the book is one of the best that I have ever read.
The most memorable thing about the book was probably the Rick Riordan portrays each and every character to create a different kind of conflict.
