This story takes place in a small town. It is from the perspective of a boy named Davis Delaware who just moved to this town. He is just trying to keep to himself, but then he starts a band and gets an enemy and this suddenly becomes difficult. I personally enjoyed this book. It appealed to me because it was a school story and some of it much mirrored my own life. The writing was very nice as well. The words the author used were very descriptive. I also liked the way the characters were presented. They were all very easy to relate to. Overall I thought this was an excellent book. One memorable event in this book, is the hook when Davis described his crush; it was very humorous. I thought it was a good way to start a book.
